Celia graduated from the University of Kent in 1999 before taking a year out and travelling around Australia. She then attended the University of the West of England, where she completed the Legal Practice Course. Celia has gained extensive experience in family, and especially children, work since qualification. Celia was a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel for ten years during which time she predominantly represented children. Celia is fast becoming knowledgeable about Education Law having represented clients in Fitness to Practise matters, Breach of Contract and Negligence, internal University Appeals and Permanent Exclusions from Schools. Celia’s gentle style but sharp attention to detail puts her ahead of many other Education Lawyers in the field.
Celia is a member of Resolution and has a conciliatory and sensitive approach to dealing with children and education cases alike.
In her spare time, Celia enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and has done various walks for charity.
