Robert Lippiatt, Convicted Sex Offender

Robert Lippiatt was first convicted of sexually abusing children in 1994, when he was given a prison sentence of seven years for indecently assaulting boys, in the 1990s.

After the trial it was reported that allegations against Lippiatt went back 10 years to 1983, but were, apparently, not followed up.

Lipopiatt stood trial again in 2020, when he was found guilty in respect of offences against four children, concerning offences committed in the 1970s. On this occasion he was sentenced to a total of four years in prison, and was ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for an indefinite period.
